Clan Convention

As part of the Gathering 2009 the standing council of Scottish Chiefs organized the first ever clan convention at the Scottish Parliament. This convention covered many issues effecting the clans in Scotland and overseas. Among the issues discussed were the meaning of clanship in the 21st century, the contribution of the clans in modern day Scotland, tourism and improving links with Scots around the world.
